COMMUNITY choir Frodsham Sings – now with a membership of more than 50 and still growing – has lined up a programme of events over the coming months.
They will be singing at the Frodsham Christmas Festival, several dates at a local supermarket for charity Halton Haven, and at the Singathon in February.
They are holding free taster sessions on Saturday mornings at Frodsham Community Centre from 9.30am to 11am.
No musical knowledge is required – just a desire to sing popular songs in a friendly group.
Grants from Frodsham Roundtable and the Community Ideas fund have enable the group to purchase equipment and music.
More than 100 people turned up to hear their progress at a “Friends and Family” coffee morning.
Recent performances have been at Frodsham Stroke Club, Five Crosses Church and a supermarket.
