Afternoon social

2

WARRINGTON’S new St Werburgh’s Community Hub held the first of a series of monthly afternoon socials to help re-kindle community inclusion for elderly local residents.
Chester Road resident Tony Rose, of R&H Robert’s bakery, delivered hot-pots and apple pie for the lunchtime feast and local PCSO Tony Spruce acted as caller for bingo.
A raffle prize of donated tinned food and other goodies made up into a wicker basket presentation by a Cranborne Avenue resident brought the curtain down on an enjoyable event.

  1. When will the rest of the ward be made aware of these facilities? or is it exclusive to the bungalow estate? Oh, I forgot. The rest of the ward don’t have the facilities.
