WARRINGTON Rylands created a new club record on Tuesday evening when they beat Skelmersdale United by ten goals to one in the Liverpool Senior Cup.

Man of the Match Alex Kiwomya made up for his miss on Saturday by putting 5 balls past Joe Langford in the Skem goal. Ben Hardcastle scored twice whilst Ben Hough, Leslie Adekoya and Sandro Da Costa got a goal apiece.

It was a dominant performance by the squad who played quick, exciting football.

Manager Neil Reynolds says he has a happy dressing room and can see a difference in his boys from when he took over. “We’re on a journey” and the players are recognising that “winning is a great feeling.”

Preparation is now underway for Saturday’s match as they take on Basford United at The Hive Arena.

Basford are currently sitting in mid-table and will be a good test for a confident Rylands.
