A 13-year-old boy arrested at Warrington on suspicion of inciting public disorder through the use of social media websites has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
Two other young men from Warrington, aged 17 and 18, have been released without charge.
But police now say a total of eight people have been arrested on suspicion of inciting public disorder through websites in Cheshire.
Two 22-year-olds from Warrington are still being held and are helping police with their enquiries.
Two others, a 23-year-old from Chester and a 24-year-old from Runcorn, also remain in custody.
One man, a 20-year-old from Northwich, has been charged with an offence of intentionally encouraging the commission of an offence and is due to appear before magistrates this morning.
There were no incidents of significant disorder reported to Cheshire Police during the course of the night.
A police spokeswoman said: “Police will continue to maintain a robust approach to anyone suspected of being engaged in, or inciting, public disorder.
“Cheshire Police have provided support to the Metropolitan Police, and a number of Cheshire Officers have travelled to London. However, this will not impact on the high level of service the communities of Cheshire expect, and continue to receive, from their local police teams.
