COLLEGE students took to the catwalk in support of the Warrington Grassroots charity.
It was the annual fashion at Priestley College and the showcase event aimed to raise as much money as possible to help support local voluntary and community groups within the Warrington area.
Students showed off garments, accessories and body based pieces designed by those studying a range of courses from the Art and Design curriculum area while students studying BTEC Business played a key role in managing the event for a core unit on their course.
Art tutor Emma Lingard, said: “For the Art and Design students this event was really special allowing them to show their pieces to a live audience, whilst at the same time, supporting such a worthwhile cause.”
Business Tutor Julie McDonald added: “It was really useful for the Business students to play a key role in the management of this event, which was some six months in the planning. The results spoke for themselves on what was a great day for the college.”
A range of local Warrington businesses also supported the show including MC2 Hair Design who provided hair and make-up for the models while a range of others donated gifts to a raffle.
