Finding new homes for kittens

1

WARRINGTON Animal Welfare are holding a “Rescue Cat Re-homing Day” in a bid to find suitable new homes for about 30 cats and kittens.
The event is taking place at Roosters public house, in Old Liverpool Road, Warrington on Saturday, August 21.
Great Sankey-based Warrington Animal Welfare (WAW) has, at any given time, around 60 cats and kittens in its care.
Some are not suitable for re-homing, but about 30 currently are and they will be at the event where visitors can come along and meet them.
WAW will carry out same-day home visits the same day to check if potential new owners are suitable and, subject to his check, the animals can be in their new homes the same day.
Two veterinary nurses will be at the 11am-4pm event, giving free health checks to cats and offering micro-chipping of cats and neutering advice. There will also be various stalls.
Anyone who would like more information should call Sue Taylor on 07772 722709.
