Officers also carried out visits to four more licensed premises.
Officers from the new Warrington town centre Neighbourhood Policing Unit were supported by 10 colleagues from the Special Constabulary – who had volunteered their time to work in the town centre.
Sergeant Paul Whitehead, said: “There were no major incidents reported in the town centre during the day. Officers policed the route during the day and then kept an eye on members of the public who headed into town for a drink in the afternoon and evening.
“Warrington town centre NPU is continuing to work closely with licensees and officers are working positively with them to ensure that the town centre is a safe place for everyone.
“We are committed to working with them and want to reassure the public that we are taking positive action against those who choose to cause problems in Warrington town centre.”
