Sorry to post this here, but we still lack a theatre section.

To My Chagrin is by Peggy Shaw who founded the well known lesbian feminist theatre company named ‘Split Britches’. The performance is a solo piece by Peggy about her relationship to her mixed-race grandson that weaves James Brown, a passion for vintage cars, and live percussion to investigate the effect of gender and race on the information we pass down through the generations.

A very entertaining piece with a hint of humour and I recomend it to posters on here. I have just been to see it at the Green Room in Manchester and is being promoted as part of the ‘queerupnorth’ festival. I think it is running for a little longer if anyone is interested.
