Lumb Brook Millennium Green annual meeting

THE annual general meeting of Lumb Brook Millennium Green, Appleton, Warrington takes place tonight (Wednesday) at St Mary Magdalene Church Hall, Bridge Lane, Appleton. The meeting is due to start at 7.30pm
The green – owned and managed by residents of the Cobbs Estate, Appleton – is currently looking a picturethanks to displays of daffodils planted by pupils from the three schools on the estate – Broomfields Junior School, Cobbs Infants School and St Monica’s Primary over recent years.
A successful Easter treasure hunt recently attracted scores of youngsters to the green.
