Two new councillors co-opted onto Appleton Parish Council

TWO new parish councillors have been co-opted onto Appleton Parish Council representing the Thorn Ward.

A total  of seven people applied to be co-opted onto the council. Each person presented to the council members who then voted in the two successful candidates.

The  new councillors are Gerry Palmer and Gary Skentelbery, who both stood as independents.

They are pictured with Chair Sandra Benger.
