Woman suffers facial injuries after being attacked by partner

A man was arrested at Latchford, Warrington, during the early of this morning after allegedly assaulting his partner.

He was taken into custody at 4am for an allegation of Grievous Bodily Harm. The female victim received facial injuries.

Earlier, just after midnigh,t police moved in to deal with two males fighting on Buttermarket Street. Both were taken into custody for Threatening Behaviour.

Then at 01.10 a male was arrested for an allegation of Drunk & Disorderly on Bridge Street.

At 01.30 a male was arrested in the Howley area who was wanted for an allegation of burglary of a dwelling in the Poplars area.

Finally at 03.22 hours a male was arrested for an allegation of Actual Bodily Harm on another.
