Gang jailed for total of more than 109 years

THREE men involved in an organised crime gang which targeted homes at Warrington and across Merseyside and Cheshire were sentenced today.
The three were members of a gang managed by a convicted drug dealer from a prison cell.
Christopher Campbell, Hayley Murphy and Paul Reid all appeared at Liverpool Crown Court where they were sentenced for their involvement in the offences.

Campbell, who was second in command for the group, was handed a 17 year prison sentence after being convicted of four counts of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs and two counts of conspiracy to supply Class B drugs.

Reid and Murphy were handed suspended sentences after they both pleaded guilty to money laundering.

The sentences mean a gang of 20 men and two women have been jailed for more than 109 years in total. The others were deal with last week.- including two Warrington men.
Shawn O’Malley 29, of Withers Avenue, Orford, was given three years and and Stephen Nelson, 33, of Longshaw Street, received two years and seven months.
