AFTER setting Lymm alight for the last five years with everything from Dinosaurs to Spitfires Lymm Historic Transport day has found a new angle to excite visitors for next year’s show on June 24.

The very popular Batmobile will be returning in 2018 but this time accompanied by Lightning McQueen as well Ecto-1 from Ghostbusters and a complete Jurassic Park set featuring tour vehicle, Park Gates and dinosaur.

“ We are still looking to build further on this theme” explained field Manager John Parry but this is a great start..”

The team are still negotiating for a number of other special attractions in addition to the usual fabulous collections of boats, traction engines, cars, aircraft cockpits and other vehicles. Watch this space for further news.

In the meantime organisers are bracing themselves for an avalanche of bookings when they open for business on Jan 3.

“Last year we had 200 cars book in on the first day and we were full by mid January” said cars co-ordinator Shaun Willacy.

If you have a vehicle to book in or want a trading slot at the show be sure to get January 3 in your diary now to be certain of reserving your slot.
