AS part of UK Parliament Week, four Warrington teenagers were part of a team from the charity HOBY UK, who have just run an outstanding workshop for young people from The Hive Youth Zone, Birkenhead.
There was an inspirational opening presentation about personal leadership, followed by a variety of workshop activities exploring the issues facing young people today.
John Sharples, former Head Teacher at Boteler High School before retiring and now CEO of HOBY UK said: ”The day was a great success and after learning about leadership, the whole team put their skills into practice to tackle food poverty.”
The team have prepared 30 food hampers for distribution to the local community at Christmas.
