Man arrested for making threats to police

A man has been arrested in the Poplars & Hulme area for allegations of threatening behaviour and resisting arrest.

It is alleged that police were called a property in the Poplars & Hulme area of Warrington when a male emerged from an adjacent property and started to make threats.

He was also said to be verbally abusive the officers and ignoring their advice to go back inside was duly arrested.

In another incident earlier today police arrested a male on Chester Road after in transpired he was Wanted for failing to Appear at Edinburgh Sheriffs Court. It was a double whammy as his car was also seized for no insurance.
