Multiple shoplifter arrested and charged

A multiple shoplifter who has targeted numerous Co-op stores across Warrington has been arrested and charged by police.

Lee Kermode, aged 40, of no fixed abode was arrested in the St Helens area earlier todayfor multiple shopliftings across various co-op stores around Warrington.

He has now been charged with four offences and has had another nine offences taken into consideration, three of which were in the Co-op store on Knutsford Road in Grappenhall.

He has been remanded into custody for the courts in the morning.
