A mini-election day in Warrington

IT’S a mini-election day in the South and West of Warrington today with a borough council by-election and three parish council elections taking place.
Polling stations will be open from 7am to 10pm.
A poll for the election of a borough councillor for Chapelford and Old Hall ward is being held due to the seat becoming vacant, after former Mayor Faisal Rashid became Warrington South MP and stepped down from his council position.
Polling stations will be at St Philips Primary School in Westbrook, Chapelford Primary School in Great Sankey, Bewsey Barns Community Centre in Old Hall and Westbrook Old Hall Primary School, Old Hall
There is also an election for a vacant seat in Central Ward on Great Sankey Parish Council.
Polling stations are at St Philips Primary School in Westbrook, Chapelford Primary School in Great Sankey and at Bewsey Barns Community Centre in Old Hall
An election is also taking place for a vacant seat on Great Sankey Parish Council in South Ward.
Polling stations will be at Great Sankey Primary School, Hood Manor Community Centre, David Lloyd Tennis Centre, Kings Community Centre and Great Sankey Children’s Centre.
Finally there is an election for a vacant seat on Stretton Parish Council where the polling station is at St Matthew’s Church Hall, Stretton.
