Firefighters tackle three wheelie bin fires

FIREFIGHTERS were called out three times today (Friday) to tackle wheelie bin fires in Warrington, including a suspected arson attack on several bins in Delamere Street.

Police also attended at the incident on Delamere Street where deliberate ignition was believed to be the cause.

Anyone with any information is urged to call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111 or Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 104 of 22 September.

Meanwhile firefighters were also called out to Bostock Street, Bewsey and Whitecross, at 5.19 am to extnguish a wheelie bin fire.

Then at 6.31 firefighters tackled a fire involving a wheelie bin on the playground on Samuel Street, Great Sankey.
