VIDEO: THE new look Warrington Market will open for business tomorrow (Saturday) as traders put the finishing touches to their new look stalls.
warrington-worldwide took a look behind the scenes, broadcasting live from the market yesterday (Thursday) with a guided tour by market manager Andy Ward just 40 hours from opening time.
With excitement mounting towards the big day the market will be officially opened at 9.30am by the town’s Mayor Cllr Les Morgan and longest serving trader Josie Butterworth, who is retiring after more than 60 years as a market trader.
There will be some special other guests from Stars Wars to help add to the occasion.
One trader Tony Longmore from Foto Crazy said: “I can’t believe how excited I am about the opening of the new look market.
“It looks fantastic and is well worth a visit.”
