CHARITY group Harry and Co, which supports maternity and neo-natal bereavement services, is to hold a special “car meet” at Warrington on Sunday, August 27.
The event will be at the Stretton Fox pub, Stretton, Warrington from 9am to 12 noon.
It is being organised by Harry and Co committee member Aidan Dickenson, whose daughter, Lilly-Rose, was stillborn in 2012.
In his spare time he takes photographs of supercars so decided to stage the show to raise money for the charity, which specialises in providing memory making resources and bereaved sibling support.
It will be a static car event, with drivers and visitors asked to make a donation – £3 has been suggested.
Aidan said: “We are hoping this event will serve as a great opportunity for awareness of the Harry & Co charity and raise some much-needed funds at the same time, to enable us to continue to support bereaved parents and families.
“There will be lots of members of the charity attending on the day to help answer any questions people may have.“
Breakfast will be served in the pub from 9am and there will be a fund-raising raffle and other activities.
