VIDEO: THERE was a fantastic turnout for the 3rd annual Tractor Festival at Bents Garden & Home, Glazebury, Warrington.

Glazebury’s long history of farming was again celebrated with the village’s annual Tractor Festival.

Scores of vintage tractors and other agricultural machinery were on show at Bents Garden & Home, many of which had been lovingly restored and rebuilt by their proud owners.

The event helped raise money and awareness for All Saints’ Church, Glazebury and Bents’ 2017 Charity of the Year, the Alzheimers Society.

The fun began on the car park of  Bents Garden & Home when the tractors, ancient and modern , were on show along with a chance to meet and guess the names of two young calfs, stalls and other entertainment.

Sitting on and pretending to drive the vehicles proved very popular with children of all ages. The tractor exhibition was organised by Rachael McGarrie in conjunction with the staff from Bents Garden and Home.
At 3pm the tractors drove in procession to Hawkhurst Farm making a grand finale to another wonderful community event.
