POLICE were today called to the Royal Mail distribution centre at Warrington following reports of a smell of cannabis.
A large number of packages, smelling strongly of cannabis were found, addressed to various locations around the UK.
The packages have been investigated and seized once the true nature of their contents was established.
The matter is now being investigated further.

have to wonder slightly how the staff knew it was cannabis. Have they been on a training course to identify the smell or something?
Anyone whos ever worked with teens and children will have done the training. Scout and Girl Guide leaders youth workers etc.
Cannabis is a very distinctive smell, and unless you’ve lived a very sheltered life, you would have come across it at some point, even walking through a town centre.
