THREE local artists are vying to be part of the match day entertainment at Warrington Wolves’ home game with Catalan Dragons on Saturday.
Singer-songwriter Ellie Dibben, acoustic duo Symbiont and folk-pop band Priestley all hope to play for the fans.
Since April, WArringtonMusic.co.uk has worked with Warrington Wolves to promote 21 different local artists, to fans of the Rugby League club via the official twitter page.
For each home game, three artists have had their music tweeted out to more than 72,000 people, with a poll deciding which track goes on to be played as part of the match day entertainment.
This has led to Psyblings being played to more than 10,000 people during half time at the Leeds Rhinos match on April 7.
The psychedelic rockers came out on top to win with almost 900 votes cast between the three bands in a 12 hour period.
When We Were Kids is Ellie Dibben’s brand new single – it’s a feel good summer song recorded at Parr Street Studios in Liverpool.
In 2012 she was invited to perform at Robin Gibb’s garden party at his Oxfordshire home.  facebook.com/EllieDibbenMusic
Symbiont are made up of Emma and Ben who have been making waves with their energetic performances at bars across the town. Re – Route is an original track. facebook.com/symbiontband
