Slydigs’ moving tribute to Viola Beach

0

LOCAL rockers Slydigs paid an emotional tribute to fellow Warrington band Viola Beach as they headlined a free gig at Warrington Music Festival in Golden Square.

The half hour set completed a day of mainly local musical talent as more than 20 bands and performers took to the stage in the Old Market Place in the heart of Warrington.

After starting their set with a moving tribute to Viola Beach, Slydigs performed their finale with members of Warrington’s signing choir taking to the stage.

Slydigs, who recently supported The Who on tour, performed at the festival as part of their ongoing tour to promote the release of their forthcoming EP & single ‘How Animal Are You?’
