MIK Artistik’s Ego Trip, who wowed audiences at the last two Warrington Contemporary Arts Festivals, are returning to the town for what promises to be a unforgettable show at Pyramid arts centre.
The trio are an edgy, funny, poetic unit who play rock and roll stand up and they are Glastonbury regulars, having performed multiple shows at each of the last eight Worthy Farm festivals.
Chaos ensues whenever the trio take to the stage with Mik tumbling around, spluttering lyrics, tripping over leads and throwing straws around.
He also likes to spout random observations and share his unusual train of thought with the audience.
Guitarist Jonny Flockton and Benson Walker on bass dutifully hold fort, trying to rein Mik in while creating a backdrop which is equal parts joyous, funky, elegant and rocky: every show is different.
