Warrington Town Reserves on verge of League and Cup double

WARRINGTON Town Reserves will be hoping to be celebrating a league and cup double tomorrow, Saturday.

Last night (Thursday) the reserves defeated Cheadle Town reserves 2-0 to lift the JA Walton Cup at Barton FC.

Goals from skipper Brad Smart and Conor Speed either side of the break secured the victory.

Tomorrow (Saturday) they host Lostock Gralam, when victory will secure promotion to the Premier Division of the Hallmark Security Premier Division of the Cheshire League.

Meanwhile Warrington Town first team will bring the curtain down on their first season in the Evo-Stik Premier Division away at Matlock Town, kick off 3pm, after just failing to make the play-offs.
