Where have all the men gone?

WHERE have all the men gone?  That’s question being asked by amateur drama group “The Bridgewater Players.
When they put out an appeal for new members they did get a welcome influx of women – but no men.
So, as most drama groups are struggling to find enough men to stage plays requiring a significant male presence in the cast, they are appealing again.  For men!
New lady members will still be welcome at the group, which stages its plays at Thelwall Parish Hall but it’s men who are really in short supply.
Bridgewater Players’ next show is “Thriller of the Year” by Glyn Jones, which will be staged from Thursday May 4 until Saturday May 6, curtain up at 7.45pm.
