TWENTY new jobs are to be created in Warrington, as leading home care provider Carewatch, launches a vigorous recruitment drive to meet the rising demand for its services.

Carewatch will be holding a recruitment open day this month at its Warrington office, 19 Wilson Pattern Street, WA9 1AU on Saturday 21 between 10am – 2pm.

Carewatch will be looking to employ people who are compassionate, considerate and wish to make a real difference to the lives of others. Flexible working hours are vacant – from just a few hours each week to full-time, including alternate weekends. The role includes providing personal care and practical support to clients, such as helping people with bathing and dressing, shopping and accompanying them to clubs. In return, full training and support will be given.

The recruitment event provides an opportunity for people who are interested in a career in care. If you have cared for somebody, maybe a family member, or have an interest in helping others but do not have qualifications in care, be sure to visit. Carewatch offers complete guidance and development.

Julie Hughes, Branch Manager at Carewatch Warrington, commented: “Quality care workers are key to our organisation’s services, but we need to recruit more if we are to meet the challenges of the UK’s ageing population.

“We’re looking for compassionate people to join our team of professionals, enabling our customers to retain their independence, dignity and security in their own home. This is a demanding but fulfilling career. If you believe you have the right qualities, we’d love to hear from you.”

If you would like to meet with the team on the day, please call Sharon at Carewatch on 07391 390737 or just come along.

  1. Lets just hope the management is much better than it was last year. My wife worked there and had to leave as the then manager was covering up major safety breaches. The management were being told about extremely poor practises being carried out by care workers and chose to ignore them. For instance, Carers giving the wrong medication to patients, people being left without visits, making staff work extremely long hours without breaks, very little training before being left to work alone, making Carers do manual handling on their own, the list goes on!!

They can’t even get the address correct, they aren’t there any more!!
