WARRINGTON residents enjoyed a festive coffee morning at Penketh Library
The free event, at the library on Honiton Way, enabled borrowers to enjoy coffee and mince pies whilst browsing the collections on offer.
Pupils at St Joseph’s RC Primary School also made a special appearance and there was standing room only as the children treated residents to a selection of seasonal songs.
Residents also had the chance to learn more about the newly-formed Friends of Penketh Library group who talked about their plans to support the library. They also asked library users about what events they would like to see in the future.
Senior LiveWire advisor at Penketh Library, Susan Morris, said: “It was fantastic to see so many people enjoying the festive coffee morning at Penketh Library and enjoying the sounds of St Joseph’s school choir.”
