Armed raid at petrol station

A MAN brandishing a weapon got away with cash and cigarettes from a petrol station in Warrington.
Police today appealed for information about the robbery at the garage in Liverpool Road, Great Sankey, which occurred around 7.20pm on Saturday, November 26.
The offender entered the office at the garage wielding the weapon and demanded money.  He made off on foot and carrying a black hold-all.
Police said the man was in his early 20s, about six feet tall and was wearing a black coat with the hood worn up. He was wearing a black Adidas cap with three white straps on the peak.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may know the identity of the man is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 807 of November 26.
