Police hunt robber who threatened staff with dirty drugs needle

WARRINGTON police have issued CCTV images of a man who allegedly threatened to stab staff with a dirty drugs needle during a robbery at a Co-op store in the town.

The alleged robbery took place at the Co-op on Padgate Lane, Warrington at approximately 21:45 hours on Tuesday 1st November 2016.

The male pictured is alleged to have stolen a quantity of meat. When challenged by a member of staff he is alleged to have made threats to stab them with a dirty drugs needle.

The male is described as being approximately 6ft tall and aged approximately in his late 30’s and described as having a local accent.

Police suspect that the logo on the hat he is wearing may well be for the Oakland Raiders American Football Team.
