Rock n Roll Hat Auction for Deaf Awareness

MAJOR worldwide artists have got on board with a “Rock n Roll Hat Auction” organised by Warrington BSL Signing Choir to to help raise funds for anything that helps improve the life of a deaf and hard of hearing person.

Artists and celebrities including Peter Gabriel, Steve Hackett, Mike & The Mechanics, Will.i.am, Richard Branson, Paul McCartney, Ane Brun, Durga (Pink Floyd) McBroom, The Edge U2, Paul Arthurs (Oasis), Rowetta & Mark Day (Happy Mondays), Michael McDonald, Pixie Lott, Ricky Gervais, Armando Gallo, ABBA, and MANY more have donated signed hats with photos of themselves wearing said hat and hand written notes for Deaf Awareness.

The event takes place at The Midland Hotel Manchester, The Wyvern Suite on Monday November 21st 7.30-9.30pm.

Host for the evening is ITV’s Paul “Croney” Crone and the Warrington BSL Choir will signing on the night. Admission is free and includes a welcome drink.

Hats can be viewed and open to pre bids on SimonCharles-Auctioneers.co.uk from today up to evening of auction where the online bidding will run alongside the live bids.

Jeanette Hughes, organiser of the event, said: “we are so proud of all the artists who have got on board with Warrington BSL Signing Choir for this auction and have kindly donated Hats for what they know is an important cause.”
