Autumn wedding fayre at Walton Hall and Gardens

THE summer may be coming to a close, but there’s still plenty to look forward to at Walton Hall and Gardens with their autumn wedding fair on September 18.

Whether you’re a bride and groom-to-be, their family or friends, the wedding fair is a great opportunity to get some inspiration for your special day and see what would be right for you.

Walton Hall will open its doors for you to view, with one of its rooms set out for a typical wedding celebration and the gardens will be blooming with late summer flowers for you to enjoy.

Local suppliers, including venue dressers, cake makers, photographers and florists, will be exhibiting in the hall, offering plenty of ideas to help you create your perfect day.

You’ll be able to take a tour of the hall and grounds, which will showcase our two outdoor wedding areas, both offering ideal settings for a beautiful ceremony.

If you are considering the hall as a venue or like what you see, further information about the room options and the food and drink packages will be available.

Cllr Tony Higgins, executive board member for culture, leisure and community, said: “In Warrington we are lucky to have such a treasure as Walton Hall and Gardens, with its majestic hall offering gilded ceilings, oak panelling and a grand staircase, surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens, making it an ideal setting for the most spectacular wedding photos.

“Any couples who are thinking of getting married should attend the fair as, not only is it a great opportunity to talk to local suppliers, get some inspiration and help you with planning, it’s also a chance to view the hall as a potential wedding venue.”

The wedding fair will be open from noon until 4pm, with a bridal show at 2pm. Admission is free, as is parking at the back of the hall (the main front car park is pay and display) and all guests will receive a complementary drink.
