Travellers vacate Hardwick Grange site – where next?

1

TRAVELLERS who set up an illegal encampment at Hardwick Grange, Woolston, have now vacated the site, after the borough council had started court proceedings.

The group, who arrived at the site after vacating Victoria Park last weekend, ignored two council notices to quit the site within 24 hours.

They had previously ignored notices to vacate Victoria Park, forcing the council to resort to court proceedings.

Six caravans and associated vehicles arrived at Hardwick Grange after vacating Victoria Park.

They are one of four traveller groups to have been operating in the Warrington area.

The big question is – where will they arrive next?
