PROMOTED Warrington Town FC are looking to the future by embracing electronic and mobile ticketing solutions.

The club has partnered with TAP2 Innovate Limited for the forthcoming season in the Evo-Stik Premier League to give their supporters an even better match-day experience.

TAP2 provide M-Venue, a fully electronic and mobile ticketing solution. Supporters can now access the ground with either a smartcard which is provided by Warrington Town FC, or can be used with a smartphone.

Tickets can be bought online which are automatically emailed to supporters. From there, they automatically attach to a smartcard or alternatively, they can then either be printed off at home or opened in the email on a smartphone and scanned by a reader.

Access to the ground on match-days will be a lot quicker!

For those who do not have internet or email, do not worry. The club are still retaining a cash gate which will allow fans to continue to gain access in the traditional way.

There are a lot of additional benefits for both the club and its supporters, which will gradually introduced through time. One benefit is a cashback scheme with a lot of well-known high street retailers taking part.

The new system is being introduced initially to season ticket holders in readiness for the start of the new season 2016/17 and then will roll-out to all supporters shortly after.

Warrington Chairman Toby Macormac said: ” I’m looking forward to working with TAP2 who will provide us with yet another step forward as we look at how we can automate things more at the club and offer season ticket holders more benefits.”
