STAFF and children at the nursery based at the Warrington Campus of the University of Chester threw a special birthday party to celebrate its 10th anniversary.
There were balloons, cake and party games and a special birthday lunch was provided by the university‘s catering team.
Nursery manager Kerry Williams said: “It was a lovely occasion – all the children and staff were really excited! Six of our staff have been working at the nursery since it first opened so it was a very special day for them too.
“It has been wonderful to see the nursery grow from strength to strength over the past 10 years, resulting in an outstanding award in our last inspection and more recently, a healthy eating award from Warrington Borough Council.
“We enjoy working with the children at the nursery so much, and the children that come here enjoy it too.”
The nursery first opened its doors in 2006 and has been committed to providing high quality childcare for children aged three months to five years. The setting is registered for up to 48 children per session and has a dedicated team of highly trained staff. Places at the nursery are open to children of the general public as well as university staff and students.
