New mums on the run – with their babies

NEW mums in Warrington are making a big push to get back to fitness with a new exercise session in Penketh which includes their babies too.
The Pram Pack group meet every Thursday morning at Penketh Library to enjoy a healthy stroll around the area as well as exercises led by a LiveWire fitness instructor.
Following the session, the group returns to the library for a well-earned cup of tea and a story for the youngsters.
The free class, which has been running since the start of the year, supports women to get active and feel healthy throughout the early stages of motherhood.
New mum Melissa Thirlaway said: “It’s a great way to keep fit and meet new people and it’s a real bonus the library is right on my doorstep.”
Pram Pack is one of a number of health-based initiatives run from Penketh Library including Stay on Your Feet sessions and Read to Relax groups.
Anyone who would like to join the Pram Pack, please contact Penketh Library on 01925 723730 for more details.
