Warrington photo studio still open after Exposure One enters liquidation

ANOTHER photography company has disappeared from the town after Exposure One Ltd entered liquidation.

Exposure One, which also had branches in Liverpool and Hull, shut suddenly last week with no notice to staff and customers.

In a statement posted on its website, the company said: “Unfortunately Exposure One Ltd has had no choice but to go into liquidation.

“This is something that we have done everything in our power to try and prevent but is now out of our control. Please accept our deepest sincere apologies – this is something that has affected us all – and we wish all of our customers and every member of staff the very best of luck.

Stories have emerged online of disgruntled customers left out of pocket having previously paid for additional photoshoots and prints.

The company’s Facebook page has also been taken offline.

No communication has been made with existing customers at the Warrington studio.

The sole director of Exposure One Ltd is listed as Mark Bailey, though he was only appointed in October following the resignation of Emma Bailey.

It is believed that the troubles have been caused primarily by the expansion studios, rather than the Warrington branch, but they are yet another photography company to go out of business in the town.

Based on Palmyra Square, it has already been replaced by a new company, Olive Tree Studios, running from the same premises and using the same equipment but under different ownership.

They have been servicing customers who had previously dealt with Exposure One.
