WARRINGTON Town have welcomed back former Everton youngster Gerard Kinsella to strengthen their midfield options.

Kinsella, aged 23, is returning for his third spell at Warrington, having gained Football League experience with Plymouth and Fleetwood following a promising
start to his career at Everton.

The attacking midfielder last played for Warrington at the end of last season helping the club lift the Doodson Sports Cup.

He signed for Hyde United in the summer before moving to Skelmersdale United.

Chairman Toby Macormac said: “We are delighted to welcome Kinny back to Warrington Town. We were disappointed to lose him in the summer as he was a key part of our plans.

“But he feels the time is now right to return to Warrington and help us push on for the league title.

“He has been here twice previously and knows we are a good club with great ambition. It is a massive boost getting him back.”

Kinsella will go straight into the squad for today’s game at home against third placed Ossett Albion, kick off 3pm
