WARRINGTON’S leading provider of vocational education is helping to create further opportunities for the town’s young people with a new Work Shop programme that offers apprenticeship vacancies and part-time jobs.

Working closely with local employers, Warrington Collegiate has launched the ‘Work Shop’, aimed at promoting opportunities available to those seeking to expand their horizons.

A number of apprenticeships are already available through Warrington Collegiate and the Work Shop hopes to expand on this and show that there is something on offer for everyone.  Current apprenticeship programmes on offer include:- Accounting, Beauty Therapy, Business Administration, Childcare, Plumbing, Hospitality & Catering, Passenger Transport, plus many more…

As part of the Work Shop programme, existing students can take up part-time jobs which they can carry out alongside their full-time vocational courses.

Opportunities are available for Warrington businesses to team up with the college.

Victoria Boulton-Clarke, Assistant Principal of Employer & Commercial Services at Warrington Collegiate said: “This is the perfect opportunity for employers across Warrington to better promote their apprenticeships and the chance for young people – either already at the Collegiate or looking to join– to see how apprenticeships or a part-time job can complement their studies.”

“Here at Warrington Collegiate, we believe excellent teaching and learning should be our first priority and what better way to learn than through on-the-job training?”

Warrington Collegiate offers both 16-18 year old apprenticeships, as well as adult apprenticeships.  For more information, contact Warrington Collegiate on 01925 494392 or e-mail [email protected]
