Health chiefs to review care services

HEALTH chiefs are to carry out a review of out-of-hospital care services in Warrington.
NHS Warrington Clinical Commissioning Group, in partnership with the borough council, is undertaking the review with the aim of improving outcomes for people when they use care services such as Padgate House, Brampton Lodge, Intermediate Care at Home or Re-ablement.
As part of this, they would like to talk to people and their carers who have used these services in the past.
An engagement event will take place on Thursday September 24, from 10am–2pm at The Gateway, Sankey Street, Warrington.
Simon Kenton, assistant director of integrated commissioning at Warrington CCG and Warrington Borough Council, said: “We know these services can be improved and we would like people’s experience of care to be more joined up and better focused on their needs.
“If you or someone you care for has used out of hospital care services in Warrington we would value your views to help shape how we can better deliver our services.”
Feedback from the event will be used to develop a set of outcomes which will enable the CCG and Warrington Borough Council to redesign how these services are planned and delivered over the next few years.
