RESIDENTS of Stockton Heath have a chance to find out everything they want to know about the proposed new M&S store which has been delayed opening in village due to problems caused by asbestos.

An opportunity to find out exactly what M&S plan for the former Co-op store will come at Stockton Heath Parish Council’s meeting next Tuesday (September 8) when Di Bartello, the store manager, will be attending to answer councillors’ questions. Members of the public are welcome.

The meeting will take place at the Sandy Lane centre at 7.30pm.

Parish council Chairman Cllr Celia Jordan said: “This will be the ideal opportunity for local residents to ask questions about what is proposed at the store and any issues they may have – in particular concerns about car parking.”

The new store is expected to open towards the end of the year.
