THE borough council, in partnership with Warrington Islamic Association is hosting an Eid family fun day on Sunday July 26 to mark the end of Ramadan.
The event will run from 12 noon until 4pm at Dakota Park, Chapelford.
An afternoon of fun and entertainment is planned – and all are welcome.
There will be face painting, henna tattoos, cakes, food, clothes stalls, raffles, football, cricket, fun rides, climbing wall, bouncy castle and much more.
Cllr Kate Hannon (pictured), the borough council’s lead member for leisure, community and culture, said “Previous Eid events have been so successful and really good fun. It’s always great to see the community come together to celebrate in this way. I’d encourage everyone to come along for a fantastic day out.”
