JUNIOR Carnival Queen – 8-years-old Rosa Sakhi was crowned Rose Queen at the annual Croft Carnival.
The youngster stepped up when there no applicants for Carnival Queen – becoming the youngest ever Rose Queen.
Rosa’s attendants were Lexy Haslam and Sophia Houghton. Eight-year old Rianna Blood joined Rosa as this years’ Carnival Princess. Rianna’s attendants were Ruby Marshall and Sarah Quinlivan.
Rosebud this year was seven-year-old Casey Skinner. Casey’s attendants were Madelaine Geraghty and Charlotte Hiley. The Crown Bearer was Finn Marshall.
Following a parade off floats through the village hundreds of villagers packed onto the village green where there were a variety of stalls and acitivities.
