Fire crews tackle kitchen blaze

A MAN suffered the effects smoke inhalation after fire broke out at a house at Warrington.
Fire crews, wearing breathing apparatus, tackled the outbreak in the kitchen of a house in Windermere Avenue, Orford using a hose reel jet.
Gas and electricity supplies were isolated and a ventilation unit was used to clear smoke from the property.
The man, who was not seriously harmed, was given oxygen.
Two fire engines from Warrington Fire Station were involved in the operation
