Woman trapped after being kicked by horse

FIRE crews from Warrington removed the roof of a car to assist in the release of a woman with suspected spine injuries after being kicked by a horse.
The incident was in Farmers Lane, Burtonwood yesterday, Monday
Details of the incident are not clear, but it is believed the woman got into her car after being kicked by the horse and was then unable to get out.
Firefighters were called to the scene and it was decided because of the risk of spinal injuries to remove the roof of the car.
The woman was then cared for by paramedics and taken to hospital by ambulance.
Details of her condition have not been released.
