Crowbar thugs raid store

THREE men armed with crowbars entered a convenience store at Warrington , threatened staff and demanded that they open the safe.
Police today appealed for information about the robbery which took place in Gorsey Lane on Sunday at about 10.30pm.
The raiders, who entered the store through the front entrance,  got away with a quantity of cash, cigarettes and stamps before leaving through a rear entrance.
One of the offenders was over six feet tall and was wearing a black hooded zipped top, black gloves and had a dark covering over his face. The other two defendants were described as wearing dark clothing.
