Warrington Male Voice Choir Traditional Christmas get together

IT’S that time of the year again – when Warrington Male Voice Choir and Leyland Band come together for their now traditional Christmas Voices Christmas Brass evenings at Parr Hall.

The concert being held on Friday 19 December and Saturday 20 December at Parr Hall Warrington and starting at 7.30pm, as well as featuring one of the country’s best male voice choirs and one of the country’s finest brass bands, will also see the audience joining in with the singing of some traditional Christmas carols.male-voice-choir-xmas

The concerts are a firm fixture in many peoples Christmas ‘to do’ diaries, because they know the evenings are a great starter for the festive season and a great night out for people of all ages, families and friends.
Commenting, Bob Williams, who will be hosting the evenings said, “Year on year we see many a familiar face in the audience and it’s clear a great time is had by all. For those people who have not been before, l ask them to give it a try; between myself, Choir and Band we will do our best to give them a real feeling of Christmas. They’ll have a chance to sing along to some familiar carols and, as in previous years, the audience are being encouraged to ‘wear something Christmassy”.

In addition, Shellys of Bold Street Warrington, are also selling tickets for the Saturday night (20 December) as part of a special promotion. Commenting, owner of Shelly’s, Michelle Butterworth said, “We are delighted to be supporting Warrington Male Voice Choir in this way. Many of our customers talk about the choir concerts they have been to, or are going to, and we thought it would be great if they could get their tickets and also enjoy a special early Saturday evening serving of hotpot before the concert”.
