CHESHIRE Fire and Rescue Service has unveiled plans for its new fire station and safety centre at Lymm.
A special exhibition will be held at Lymm Village Hall, Pepper Street tomorrow (Friday) from 2.30pm to 6pm.
It will give people the chance to view the proposed development, which is at the former truck stop site on Cliff Lane.
There will also be able to chat to the designers.
Cllr John Joyce, chairman of Cheshire Fire Authority, said: “I would encourage people to come along to the exhibition and have a look at what we are proposing and share their views about our plans.”
The building of a new fire station and safety centre at Lymm is part of a comprehensive plan to improve response times across Cheshire, Halton and Warrington. The plan, which involves the building of up to five new stations, was subject of a widespread public consultation.
