ASPIRING poets and writers are being invited to enter a creative writing competition to raise funds for a group helping chronically ill people in Warrington.
The Well Warrington Network – a not for profit organisation – is running the competition, which will be judged by prize winning poet Helen Thomas.
Writers are asked to pen up to 1,000 word short stories or up to 32 lines of poetry on the theme of Health, Wealth, Happiness.
There is a £3 entry fee and there will be three prizes of £60, £30 and £20.
Closing date is May 18 and entry forms and rules can be downloaded from www.wellwarringtonnetwork.co.uk
